Paradigm Geophysical

[edit]

I've moved your article to Draft:Paradigm Geophysical where you can work on it until it's ready for publication. A publicly quoted company ought to be notable but the article doesn't show that it is, or was. We need reliable, verifiable, independent sources to show that it meets the threshold described in WP:NCORP. Hope that helps, Cabayi (talk) 10:40, 8 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The company was sold for $1B: https://www.haaretz.com/israel-news/business/paradigm-is-sold-to-apax-and-jmi-for-1-billion-1.5177501 So it seems like notable (unless the threshold is above $1 billion, in which case why Waze is listed). It was reported on the NY times, a reliable, verifiable and independant source for sure: https://dealbook.nytimes.com/2012/06/11/apax-led-group-to-buy-paradigm-for-1-billion/ Thank you

Consensus

[edit]

Hi Yotamabramson. I didn't mention this at Talk:Buccaneer because it's more for your information, but Wikipedia discussions generally operate on a BOLD, revert, discuss cycle. That means (a) you made a bold edit, (b) someone reverted you, and (c) it's now up to you to build a consensus to support your edit. The burden for adding or restoring content lies with you. It's not up to other editors to convince you otherwise.

It looks like you've been editing here for 17 years, but with 31 edits, you're still considered a new user. I suggest reading through the information left in the Welcome message at the top of this page. Please let me know if you have any questions. Cheers!
