Request reason:

I'm sorry for messing around with the COPPA article with my friends. I guess it's not right for me to make edits that don't improve the encyclopedic quality of Wikipedia. If I were only here to promote the change dot org petition, though, I would not be writing this. Because I would like to keep this account so that I can get around to editing about my home state of Texas in a non-opinionated fashion. But I understand that I need to be punished for promotion and my behavior, and I also understand that that's not happening over night. With this, I conclude my unblock request. How long do I have to wait until you are willing to unblock me?
