@Ysabella Escalona great post! I've always wondered what being an exchange student in a foreign country would be like. I am an English major, and am required to take a foreign language. I chose to take Spanish, and since I've learned a bit, it is interesting to have a classmate whose native language is the one that I am learning. ¿Cómo te gustan los estados unidos hasta ahora? Response on Writing[edit]

Hi Ysabella. I liked your journal post about writing. I actually found an interesting graphic last year that showed the evolution of the English Alphabet. I looked did some digging and found an article it was attached to [1]. It's actually quite interesting and the evolution of language has always fascinated me. But something else to consider that is not mentioned often while typing on computers is the loss of cursive writing. Almost all forms of writing today are typed out. We will soon have a generation that doesn't know how to write out their names in a formal signature. Jkoplin1 (talk) 15:50, 1 July 2019 (UTC)Jkoplin1[reply]
