Greetings from California, Yulia Romero! I have sent you an e-mail about Valeria Lukyanova. I used e-mail because that doesn't seem the kind of thing you'd wish to discuss on your talk pages. But if you are willing to discuss it here, I am as well.

ChrisWinter (talk) 23:43, 11 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I made a new "effects of the crisis" section at 2013–15 Ukrainian crisis. I only put in a few basic facts, and also moved your addition about the coal shortage there. If you have any good additions about domestic impacts in Ukraine, this strikes me as a good place to expand our coverage of the crisis. RGloucester 19:55, 13 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Seems you have a fan...[edit]

Apparently User:183.207.229.132 doesn't like you very much. He seems to have slipped an insult at you into a talk page for another one of his computers judging by the similar IP (.130 vs .132). Tricky. I listed it for CSD using a custom template, but if that doesn't work I'd suggest you send up a Suppression request since it's actually against you. Just thought you'd like to know! I have was not been logged into Wikipedia from 18 January 2015 till today (I am busy in real life) so I did not notice any of these shenanigans. Hence I do not feel hurt but rather happy that this IP made it possible that I could use the word "shenanigans" again. (I like the word "shenanigans".) Thanks for the help and also the information RegistryKey.

Russia-Ukraine gas disputes[edit]

A political dispute between the Russian Federation and Ukraine started soon after the Orange Revolution in 2005. Partially as part of the dispute, the regime of Viktor Yanukovych convicted the former prime-minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko in abuse of power. It also led to signing of the Kharkiv Pact which for a speculated gas discount Ukraine extended the stay of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol and Crimea. Shortly after the (disputed) March 2014 accession of Crimea to the Russian Federation, Russia unilateral terminated the treaty on 31 March 2014.

Looks fine by me! — Yulia Romero • Talk to me! 23:34, 11 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Anti-Ukrainian sentiment, please see links[edit]

There is a lot of commotion on List of coups d'état and coup attempts by country and List of coups d'état and coup attempts since 2010 by a biased User:Endukiejunta who is continually pushing pro-Russian POV edits, while regarding our revolution as that of a "coup." Please visit the talk pages here and here to set him straight. His edits have no place on Wikipedia. § DDima 22:19, 26 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

It seems that the problem has solved without my help DDima. I am busy in real life these days.... and I am not feeling like editing Wikipedia also these days. I hope all will go well without me! I am sure it will. With some luck Iryna Harpy, RGloucester and (especially in the field of Ukrainian politics) Aleksandr Grigoryev and some other users will make the edits I would have made. — Yulia Romero • Talk to me! 16:02, 22 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Pastor Sunday Adelaja.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Please merge your accounts Mariah-Yulia in all Wikipedias[edit]

Hi,

I have noticed that you are using accounts Mariah-Yulia in different Wikipedias but you have not merged them into a global account yet. Global accounts become mandatory since 15 April 2015, and all non-merged accounts will be renamed.

As of now, you have accounts Mariah-Yulia in other projects, for example, in Ukrainian and German Wikipedia, which are not merged with your global account. Only your account in Dutch Wikipedia is attached to your Mariah-Yulia account now, so please click on nl:Special:MergeAccount and finish the unification process. You can check the state of your account unification at Special:CentralAuth/Mariah-Yulia

If you don't merge your accounts by 15 April, your accounts Mariah-Yulia can be renamed.

If you have questions you can ask them on my talk page. Best regards — NickK (talk) 22:58, 20 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

How is your Ukranian ?[edit]

Hello Yulia Romero,

From your valuable contributions to Decommunization in Ukraine I started thinking that you might have a good understanding of the Ukranian language and culture (in addition to English).

If so, I would much appreciate if you would provide any input to the discussion at:

File permission problem with File:Ivan Kyrylenko.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Ivan Kyrylenko.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Kelly hi! 10:32, 1 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I did not and I am not in contact with the person who created the file. So I can not do above steps. The photo is not really good.... so I see no need in my tracking down the person who created the file. So you have my blessing Kelly to delete the file. I am not even sure why I uploaded the file on Wikipedia in the first place.... — Yulia Romero • Talk to me! 22:28, 6 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
