Great Essay

[edit]

I say, this essay is great for beginners who're unfamiliar with image situation on Wikipedia. It's well written, clear and easily understandable.Nice job Yunshui.I love your work.Cheers!--Chamith (talk) 14:54, 8 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This looks to be helpful and I have bookmarked it for future reference. One suggestion: Provide some info on Commons accounts. I uploaded an image, but made a mistake in the description. I had a devil of a time figuring out how to fix it. Turns out I needed to know 3 non-obvious things: (1) that the editing had to be done from a Commons account even though I uploaded the image in my Wikipedia account; (2) I already had a Commons account with the same username and password as my Wikipedia account; (3) I needed to log in to the Commons account separately. All very confusing. Retired Pchem Prof (talk) 18:08, 16 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
