Better judgement

[edit]

Please exercise better judgement than you did here. If you bothered to read the content linked in the article, you would have noticed that there is a very obvious discrepancy in the Kabali box office figures reported by various outlets, and no singular entity has the "correct" information. Changing figures based on your own biases or opinions is not helpful or acceptable. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 18:41, 15 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Better judgment on sources

[edit]

Hi there, re: this, please exercise better judgment when you pick references. While India Today is typically considered a reliable source, in this instance, they are clearly just regurgitating information they have sloppily found on Twitter. They cite an unknown source "BoxOffice India & Intl", which I'm sure you've never heard of, who runs a broken website on a free hosting platform. That hardly meets the standards of a mainstream source with an established reputation for fact-checking and accuracy. Please don't be in such a rush to update film financial figures that you lose site of the importance of proper references. Thank you. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 16:15, 15 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Also, a lesser matter, but here you incorrectly added the estimation template to budget. It only belongs in the gross field. Thank you. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 16:20, 15 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Consider this your last warning on submitting garbage references. this, which is cited to [2]. Go to WP:ICTF#Guidelines on sources. If you pick anything other than one of those, or any source that is a non-major source, your editing privileges will be revoked. Maybe you should stick to correcting typos until you get the hang of what is or isn't a reliable source? Cyphoidbomb (talk) 06:07, 16 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Karuppu Subbiah moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Karuppu Subbiah, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. I didn't realize this had already been moved back to draftspace once, already. Please leave this in draftspace and improve it with quality sourcing, remove the content that cannot be sourced, and please improve the grammar and tone of the draft before submitting properly to the AfC review process.
