Plan of Attack[edit]

The three articles to summarize a planned improvement will be the pages on Claude Garamond, Stephen Henry Horgan, and Saul Steinberg. To start off with the Garamond page, the main plan would be to gather more of his influential works and elaborate. Within the existing stub, it is said that Garamond was involved with a few people. It may be possible to find information on the background of his work while with these people, and the contributions that came from it. It may also be crucial to dig up more information on Garamond's Roman typefaces, and what came from those works as well.

The next, even smaller stub of an article, is the Stephen Henry Horgan page. Most importantly, in the introduction of the article halftone is mentioned. As the inventor of the halftone process, it is crucial to incorporate any information found on what this process is and how it works. There should most definitely be more information found on Horgan's work background and where he came from in his life. There needs to be information stated as to how he got to his jobs and how he came up with the halftone process.

The third article to be edited is going to be Saul Steinberg's page. This article carries more information than the previous articles, but his life and work needs more elaboration. It is known he came up to be a cartoonist, but it is not stated where he started submitting his work and how he ended up at The New Yorker. There is also no specification to what Steinberg's most significant artworks were. Steinberg had also married a painter, but there isn't any information for that background which there may be influence from the fact they were both artists.

For all three of these articles, there is a good amount of information found on the College of Staten Island databases. There are also scholarly articles found by searching Google. The main plan is to work for the article that has the most information first and so on. The article with the least, Stephen Henry Horgan's page, has little information for a reason. Information will take longer to find as it seems scarce.
