A tag has been placed on Untitled Million Dollar Strong Project requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. « Milk's Favorite Cøøkie 00:12, 6 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

July 2008[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Pineapple Express (film) has been reverted. Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): rule: '\bblogspot\.com' (link(s): http://themoviewatch.blogspot.com/2008/05/pineapple-express.html) . If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, or similar site, then please check the information on the external site thorougly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creators copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).

If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! Hi, I hate to bother you, but do you have any references to prove this person is notable? Bearian (talk) 23:28, 7 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I think that they should be considered a notable person because they show up on multiple other websites confirming who they are and what they have done, he has a relatively popular internet series. He is more notable than some of the people who show up on the pages of wikipedia, and if anything is this not a website for being able to look up what and who you want to learn about? I think he has enough to qualify him for that. I can look for more external references and add them to the page if necesary. Also, if you google him, there are pages upon pages about him that come up.

I sent you a link to WP:N in particular, but also look at WP:RS. Also, please sign your messages with 4 tildes like this ~~~~ Bearian (talk) 23:43, 7 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

sorry for not signing my message. I meant to and in my haste made a mistake. Would you not consider an imdb page a notable person with many other links as well?

Zacq12 (talk) 23:46, 7 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Technically, IMdB is not considered a very reliable website, as thousands of anonymous persons (myself included) can edit it using Internet 2.0, meaning it is merely O.K. You need other sources to verify that the person is actually notable (famous) already. Are there any articles in Google News, newspapers, or independent/professionally made websites? Wikipedia -- and its Five Pillars -- depends on good quality secondary sources. Bearian (talk) 13:54, 8 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Untitled Million Dollar Strong Project. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Untitled Million Dollar Strong Project. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:13, 21 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
