Welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome your help to create new content, but your recent additions (such as Penguin invansion of Earth) are considered nonsense. Please refrain from creating nonsense articles. If you want to test things out, edit the sandbox instead. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. RyanPostlethwaiteSee the mess I've created or let's have banter 16:08, 15 January 2007 (UTC)

FYI, protection on Mark Hall was removed as you requested on WP:RFP. I have started off the article with a brief stub just so someone won't get in the way with a different Mark Hall. ;) --BigDT 03:23, 16 January 2007 (UTC)
Hi Zbl, I removed the case of suspected sockpuppetry you filed at WP:SSP regarding User:SupaSoldier. If I removed this case in error, and you need help formatting the report correctly, please contact me for assistance. --Akhilleus (talk) 05:58, 29 January 2007 (UTC)
Zbl, User:Puppop has been blocked indefinitely, so I see no reason to refile the sockpuppetry case. If you're wondering, I said that the case was "possibly frivolous" because you had linked both users to La, which I suppose was just a formatting error on your part. --Akhilleus (talk) 23:06, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
Zbl, check Puppop's block log; I didn't block him. If you're curious was he was blocked you'll have to ask the blocking admin. I think the reason might also be on his talk page. --Akhilleus (talk) 23:11, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
An Automated Message from HagermanBot
[edit]Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. [edit]I suppose I just don't understand what your goal is. Are you claiming that Puppop is a sock puppet of SupaSoldier? Puppop is blocked now, so what difference does it make? And just what does Elk___ have to do with any of this? Why did Elk___ need to be unblocked for you to fix anything at SPP? Seriously, I'm just trying to understand. · j e r s y k o talk · 02:13, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
- Actually, nevermind. I'll leave you alone. · j e r s y k o talk · 02:15, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
WP:SSP
[edit]Zbl, I'm confused also. User:Puppop is still blocked, so I don't see the use of filing the sock case; what's more, the evidence you provided is, to be kind, pretty weak. If you decide to put the case in again, please make sure to provide specific evidence, in the form of diffs, of edits by SupaSoldier and Puppop that are similar--otherwise the case won't be taken seriously. --Akhilleus (talk) 02:31, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
- I am dropping this case, Do you read this, Jersyko? Zbl 19:56, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
- Fine, but then I really don't understand why you've been pushing for Puppop to be unblocked. What is your interest here if not the sock case? · j e r s y k o talk · 20:29, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
- I saw what he wrote. Just because I thought he was a sock once and put his page on my Watchlist and forgot to take it off isn't a problem. Besides, I didn't try to get him unblocked, in fact, I reported him. Zbl 20:31, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
- Fair enough. · j e r s y k o talk · 20:33, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
- Besides, if he really is a sockpuppet, we won't find out by leaving him blocked, but I think he isn't anyway. Zbl 20:40, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
{helpme} - text editing
[edit]How do you change the color or size of text?
- Hope this helps. You should check Manual of Style before changing styles in articles.
- Check out helpful edit tools for automated tools. There's other ways available using formatting, I don't know how to find them at present though. Reinstate helpme if you require them. The18thDoctor 14:44, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
I want the text between[color=red] and [/color] on my Userpage to be red, etc. Size=7 is 170%. Will someone fix this for me?
- I've made these changes. However, the more traditional method of displaying things about yourself is to use a userbox. {{Z4ns4tsu/Userboxes/NCAA-Ohio State}} would be perfect for you. Just put {{User:Z4ns4tsu/Userboxes/NCAA-Ohio State}} on your userpage and the box will showup! --MECU≈talk 15:14, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
Is there somewhere I could see a list of Userboxes? Also, how do I make them go to the right and everything else go to the left?
- If you go to Wikipedia:Userboxes, you will find much more information abut what you need to do to create a userbox. Go to the Gallery on the page, and you will be able to find a list of all the userboxes available. --Willy No1lakersfan (Talk - Contribs) 14:38, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
Mescher's method
[edit]I'm sorry that I had to nominate the article you created for deletion. I was unable, after substantial searching, to verify that "Mescher's method" refered to a real notable method, or was just someone taking credit for the FOIL rule in reverse. Do you have any sources that show that this method is widely known by the name "Mescher's method?" Do you know Mescher? Hipocrite - «Talk» 20:58, 7 February 2007 (UTC)

Vandalism

Re: Can'tnap...
[edit]Because it's such an obvious impostor of User:Can't sleep, clown will eat me and User:Willy on Wheels that there's no point in pretending otherwise -- those names may not be familiar to you, but please rest assured that they are memorable names on Wikipedia. As far as "remov[ing] his vote," I'm not sure what you're referring to. – Luna Santin (talk) 02:17, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
Re "deliberate irony" on the now-closed RFC: It's a little bit like sending a glowing endorsement of character (personal reference letter) to someone's prospective employer, and signing it "Theodore Jeffrey Bundy-Dahmer". (One might do that if the applicant were an enemy, but certainly not for a friend.) Voting "allow" and signing that name to it was certainly not going to win any friends, and the writer surely knew it. -- Ben 02:29, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
Username Can'trest, foot stuck in the washer or something like that
[edit]He was blocked because WP:U dictates that usernames can't be extremely long. Somebody said it was 59 characters, but you can count it if you want. Wikipedian27 15:06, 24 February 2007 (UTC)

Block message:
Autoblocked because your IP address was recently used by "Ivebenndead5000years". The reason given for Ivebenndead5000years's block is: "Page move vandalism.".
Decline reason: Lock down your network, contact his/her parents -- just put a stop to it or you will lose your editing privileges permanently under the Wikipedia:No open proxies policy. -- Netsnipe ► 04:30, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
The kid up the street who always hacks into our wireless network is at it again. Not my fault. Zbl 23:29, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
- Having reviewed your other previous warnings over immature vandalism and other page moves, I have good reason to believe that you are engaging in Sockpuppetry. You have now been indefinitely blocked from editing Wikipedia and so has your IP address. -- Netsnipe ► 04:35, 28 February 2007 (UTC)

Request reason:
Our netwrok is now better secured. My dad found something that made it work. I have only made one vandalistic edit. That was long ago and I am sorry for it. All the other warnings were due to misunderstandings. I have also spoken to the neighbor that was the two accounts of yesterday and he has agreed to stop editing Wikipedia. Most sincere apologies. If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
For the reviewing adminsitrator: just who really owns this wireless network? Your story doesn't add up Zbl. You claim that you own the wireless network operating at 70.104.103.206, but another user User:Hunted_by_A.K.G. autoblocked on this address claimed the same thing too: "I use a local wireless network with one address. Once before, when the kid up the street used it, I was autoblocked. I used to edit as an anon." [2] To me, it clearly looks like you're trying to game Wikipedia by seeing how many times you can continue to disrupt it using multiple accounts.
For one thing, don't you mean network? For another, you definitely have at least 3 sockpuppets. I may not be an admin, but I've seen the list of sockpuppets. For all admins, I'm autoconfirmed. Ian (talk) 23:46, 15 October 2010 (UTC)
Ummm...I may get blocked, but if you wanted to keep them a secret, you should have made sure you had done each request for unblocking at least a couple hours apart. But you didn't, so now you are blocked. Why did you create sockpuppets in the first place? (I tend to at least try to justify things for some reason) It was wrong. Vandalizing is wrong. I suggest you give each of your sockpuppets to a different person and tell them to change the password so you cannot access them anymore. That is, when each of them are unblocked. That would be the right thing to do to start with, so they change from being sockpuppets to regular accounts for different people. Tell them to make a nickname and not check the box, tell them to ask the administrators to clear the history, and also ask them to make good edits. That's my suggestion.
