Hello, Zebrafishgroup

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Graeme Bartlett, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I've proposed an article that you started, Gasocrine system, for deletion because it meets one or more of our deletion criteria, and I don't think that it is suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. The particular issue can be found in the notice that is now visible at the top of the article.

If you wish to contest the deletion:

  1. Edit the page
  2. Remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. Click the Publish changes button.

If you object to the article's deletion, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the issues raised in the deletion notice. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Graeme Bartlett}}. And remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. Thanks!

Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Zebrafishgroup. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Chemoreceptor, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. You seem to be focused on adding information from a single research group (the "zebrafish group") about a hypothetical gas receptor. You need to disclose your relationship to this group as a possible conflict of interest. Zefr (talk) 03:17, 21 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
