BoxCrawler

I'll fix the CR issue as soon as I get home this afternoon. As far as the infobox goes, you don't use any of the ones recognized by our project so BoxCrawler doesn't recognize it. This tag will continue being changed until an infobox whose name begins with "Infobox" is used. Adam McCormick 14:58, 20 July 2007 (UTC)

Please do not write demeaning words on Castillero Middle School's article

Sorry about that, I didn't realize you had just undid the previous person's edits. One of the ethnicities was still changed to a demeaning word and I assumed you had done that. Once again sorry, thanks for patrolling Wikipedia.

Fair use disputed for Image:CrystalSpringsUplandsSchool-logo.gif

Thanks for uploading Image:CrystalSpringsUplandsSchool-logo.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 02:37, 6 September 2007 (UTC)

Henry Balfour Gardiner

Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia! I noticed that you recently added commentary to an article, Henry Balfour Gardiner. While Wikipedia welcomes editors' opinions on an article and how it could be changed, these comments are more appropriate for the article's accompanying talk page. If you post your comments there, other editors working on the same article will notice and respond to them and your comments will not disrupt the flow of the article. Thank you. – Zedla 00:31, 27 September 2007 (UTC)

My comment was commented out so that readers of the article would not see it, and it was located EXACTLY where those working on the article could best make use of it. Michael Hardy 00:34, 27 September 2007 (UTC)

Mission High graduate?

Hello Zedla, I am still looking for a link to the fact that I actually attended and graduated from Mission High School in San francisco in 1972, an experience I can vouch for but you seem to think you can question. I may have to go over there, ask the librarian for a copy of the 1972 yearbook and scan it, or maybe I can dig out my construction paper diploma, but I know where I went to high school and you don't, so please, give me a few weeks to seek out my proof.

Besides, anyone who would try and claim to have graduated from my poorly funded, strife-ridden inner city high school would probably be a little sick in the head. Hank chapot 01:25, 29 September 2007 (UTC)

Hi. Please don't tag articles with {{db-norat}} unless they've actually been tagged with {{nrd}} for seven days first. Thanks. IceKarma 03:25, 29 November 2007 (UTC)

No worries. Owing to the number to be repaired, is there any chance you could be talked into helping convert the db-norats into nrds? IceKarma 04:23, 29 November 2007 (UTC)

Elliot Prior?

You bunged a post on my talk page relating to a page entitled 'Elliot Joseph Prior', saying how I had been 'experimenting with wikipedia'. This interested me. Yes, I moved 'Elliot Prior' to EJP, because of the name of the famous cult leader, which is what I assumed the article to be about. I never saw the article again and had no idea that it would degenerate in to vandalism/rubbush or whatever caused it to be deleted. Because of this I was suprised when a post accusing me of some sort of vandalism appeared on my talk page. Would like to discuss. ANHL (talk) 08:27, 6 December 2007 (UTC)

I was just saying how you seemed to be blaming me 'your experiment worked'etc. for vandalism. I fully suppourt the deletion of the page if that is what it degenerated to, and indeed the redirect page. All I was saying was that all I did was to move a blank page to a new title, where I thought it belonged; I has nothing ot do with whatever came later to get it deleted. Because of this I wasn't keen on having a post (probably placed there in error) on my talk page accusing me of who knows what. As you can see from the history all I did was to move the page.ANHL (talk) 08:20, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
Just noticed another thing, you are saying that it was a 'test page'; what exactly do you mean by this?ANHL (talk) 08:26, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
OK, I see what you mean. Good job deleting the dead page.ANHL (talk) 13:50, 7 December 2007 (UTC)

There is no need to spam me with WP:TW messages. If you have a valid issue with a fair use rational I have on an image just let me know. --Jerm (Talk/ Contrib) 00:24, 11 December 2007 (UTC)

Uh, you reverted the alum list for Milpitas HIgh School, which consists of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deltha_O'Neal Deltha O'Neal -- a 2 time NFL PRO BOWLER, and another NFL receiver , both of whom are equally or more notable than tab perry —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.196.99.226 (talk) 03:24, 12 December 2007 (UTC)

Michigan State University image

Hi -- I noticed you tagged Image:Michigan State University logo.png for speedy for two reasons. The second I have addressed, the problem that there were not individual fair use rationales for each article in which the article was used. Your first objection, though, was that a different image (Image:Michigan State University seal.png) is used in Michigan State University as well under a fair use claim. Why is that a problem? This could just be my own ignorance talking, but I don't think that there's a limit on the number of fair use images allowed in a particular article. Dylan (talk) 17:14, 17 December 2007 (UTC)

Hmm. Hanging around university articles a lot, from what I've seen it seems customary to include the different logos of a school in the infobox. I think an argument could be made that the use of multiple non-free logos is necessary because they each identify the school in a way that the others cannot. They're pretty substantially different: (1) the school's seal, used to historically represent the university; (2) the logotype of the school, used on letterheads and official documents; and (3) the block S used primarily in athletic contexts. Dylan (talk) 06:23, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
Okay. I don't object to removing it. (This isn't even really my fight, I was just working with the image because I nominated MSU for an FAR.) Dylan (talk) 02:00, 21 December 2007 (UTC)

Poway High School

Stop erasing the section on ASB at Poway High School. All the information contained in that paragraph is correct to the utmost degree, stop trying to edit that page if you don't even know if it is true or not. —Preceding unsigned comment added by IHATEMYLIFEXXX (talkcontribs) 22:17, 20 December 2007 (UTC)

Poway High School

I never in any way indicated that I "own" the article, I just know that the paragraph written is 100% accurate, and you have no knowledge on the subect at hand. So, stop erasing it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by IHATEMYLIFEXXX (talkcontribs) 22:31, 20 December 2007 (UTC)

Balboa High School

AP Courses

I'm a senior at Balboa High School. I can tell you that although the AP courses are listed on the UC Doorways (even as recent as last year), there are many of those AP courses that are NOT offered at Balboa. Thus, I have edited it to what is an actual, contemporary, real-to-date AP course offering at Balboa. Quixotic Rick (talk) 03:03, 27 December 2007 (UTC)

Grafton Memorial Senior High School

Posting facts that cannot be stated in any other way (ie: a phone number/email address) is not "copyright infringement" especially if you have permission to use the information because A) it was give to you or B) you created it. I highly disagree with your stance on this Wikipedia article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by NJPolselli (talkcontribs) 03:26, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
