Speedy deletion nomination of Nisrine Rihan[edit]

A tag has been placed on Nisrine Rihan requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Nisrine Rihan, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Temporary rescue of Nisrine Rihan[edit]

Hi. I've removed the deletion template on Nisrine Rihan since I don't think the article fits the speedy-deletion criteria. Nevertheless, I'm having a hard time finding any meaningful source of content for the article. Perhaps some do exist in Arabic or Hebrew but I'm guessing that even that would be a bit too weak to build a reasonable article. I think that a good alternative is to simply redirect the entry to Ajami (film) since this is (so far) the only role she has ever had. Best, Pichpich (talk) 23:20, 11 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Free Spirit (TV series). Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Born Free (TV series). It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia.
