Manchuria[edit]

Hello, Zhang Qiang. I have no problem with either Northeast China or Northeastern China, suit yourself. As for Manchuria, there is an article on that already, which I think it is appropriate that we refer the readers to, somehow. As you will find out if you read the article on Manchuria, the name is vague and can refer to Northeast China or even larger territories.

Let me remind you that this is the English language Wikipedia, we should stick to terms and usages that are current in the English language. Manchuria is not used very often in modern Chinese, but it is still used in English and a number of other languages. We may or may not like that, but Wikipedia is not the place to change that.--Niohe 15:39, 23 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

As you said these two are not the same. Zhang Qiang 16:07, 23 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Meaning what? One thing does not exclude the other.--Niohe 16:24, 23 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Northeast China exclude Manchuria. Zhang Qiang 16:28, 23 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No, I would say that Manchuria in some contexts is identical with Northeast China, in other contexts not. You can have a look at this map of South Manchuria if you like: [1]--Niohe 16:37, 23 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not revert mentions of Manchuria in the Northeast China article unless you can show evidence that Manchuria is not used to refer to Northeast China in English. Present any evidence at Talk:Northeast China. Thanks. -  AjaxSmack  17:04, 26 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your edits to Dalian and other articles[edit]

Please stop deleting content to make a point, this is a clear violation of WP:POINT. I have myself made this mistake, as you are no doubt aware of, but if you continue doing this, I will have to ask someone to take action.--Niohe 19:41, 29 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

OK, so you reverted again. Are able to articulate yourself in more than two sentences at a time? It would be interesting to hear you engage in a discussion.--Niohe 21:01, 29 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding misleading edit comments, or you will be blocked for disrupting wikipedia. `'mikka (t) 04:24, 30 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked[edit]

You are blocked for 24h because you violated the three-revert rule in Shenyang article. `'mikka (t) 20:43, 30 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked?[edit]

Mikka, are you an administrator? Anyway, Zhang Qiang, I will report you for your violations to the Administrators noticeboard, unless this has not been done already.--Niohe 21:46, 30 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Revert warring[edit]

Please don't wage revert wars. Such edits are better avoided. Please discuss your opinion on talk pages of appropriate articles. Thanks, Ghirla -трёп- 15:51, 2 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
