August 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Your recent edit removed content from People's Republic of China. When removing text, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the text has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. The article The Chinese (Age of Empires) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Article is entirely based on a specific playable nation in the video game series "Age of Empires". Text is based on the nations game elements, and it's supposed in-game text, which seems to be already mentioned in the History of China article.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. 猛禽22 06:00, 7 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated The Chinese (Age of Empires), an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Chinese (Age of Empires). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. 猛禽22 06:34, 7 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to the Power in International Relations Wikiproject, fellow!

Thank you for your words on my talk page. Maybe I'll update my Rating of countries by prominence, however the creation of the 2008 version took rather long time, and I don't know when I'll have the same amount of free time to make a 2009 revision. It is likely that China will top the rating if the new version will be made using parameters included into the List of statistically superlative countries (by the way, most of that list was made by me). If you like the conceptual idea of that rating and have some time, you may do a 2009 version yourself.Greyhood (talk) 18:59, 26 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is List of cities by GDP. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of cities by GDP. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:15, 1 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of content from PRC article[edit]

Dear Zhonghuo, please stop mass removing content from the article. If you believe a piece of content is not relevant, you still can remove it, but if you are challenged (someone disagrees with you and revert your changes) DO NOT enter and edit war and revert the reversal. Please go to the talk page and discuss it there, explaining what and why you think should be removed. Pay attention to WP:BRD and avoid conflicts. Thank you.
