Playoff stats leaders[edit]

There was no consensus to note playoff leaders in stats tables at a prior discussion at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_National_Basketball_Association/Archive_22#Playoff_stats_leaders_for_a_given_year. If you wish to have this, feel free to start a new discussion at WT:NBA. Regards.—Bagumba (talk) 17:39, 12 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Color accessibility[edit]

Hi. You might not have been aware, but WP:COLOR states: "Ensure that color is not the only method used to convey important information. Especially, do not use colored text or background unless its status is also indicated using another method such as an accessible symbol matched to a legend, or footnote labels. Otherwise, blind users or readers accessing Wikipedia through a printout or device without a color screen will not receive that information."

I've modified your edit at Magic Johnson to restore the asterisk, and changed † to ‡ for NBA records in the stats table. Cheers.—Bagumba (talk) 14:24, 1 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Bagumba:

Hello Bagumba.

First off I want to say thank you for your contributions to NBA articles. Since I have recently started to try to improve NBA articles I have noticed your name many times and I appreciate the work you do. I also want to thank to thank you for bringing the WP:COLOR to my attention. I wasn't completely aware of it.

The reason I have been making the edits I have is to try to bring consistency among NBA player articles. I have found a huge discrepancy among all of the player articles when it comes to League Leaders, NBA championships and NBA records. Either the highlighting is not present at all, or the asterisk, cross and double dagger are inconsistent. I definitely am in favor of the following format that you applied to the Magic Johnson and other articles:

Denotes seasons in which Johnson won an NBA championship
* Led the league
NBA record

If there is a consensus that this is the appropriate format, I will do my best to try to bring consistency among NBA player articles.

Admittedly I was just bold and changed a bunch of articles. I don't have a preference to what symbol is used, if someone wants to go and change them all.—Bagumba (talk) 16:34, 1 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

KU retired jerseys[edit]

Thanks for adding these. Could you please remember to word it "No. XX jersey retired by University of Kansas?" KU doesn't retire the numbers, they retire the players' jersey. Also, I think you have been doing this, but college jersey retirement always goes at the end of college achievements. Thanks! Rikster2 (talk) 14:39, 9 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
