Muqbil Al-Zahawi is a renowned Iraqi-Kurdish ceramicist. Al-Zahawi was active from the late 1950s, with his first exhibition in taking place in 1962. He then exhibited his art in various one man shows and collective shows throughout Europe, the US, and the Middle East, in a career spanning over 35 years. I plan to write an article discussing: modern Iraqi artists, the life and work of Muqbil Al-Zahawi as an Iraqi artist, and the method of coiling for ceramicists.
