Hi Zoe,
I'm sorry about the tardy reply, mainly because I'm taking a (rather long) break from Wikipedia right now.
About your questions: unfortunately, I can't locate the books that I used to write the article. However, I'll try to find them in my school library as soon as I get back to school, which is happening next week. So I'll get back to you then. Hopefully that isn't too late for you =(. If you need more urgent help, feel free to leave a message on my talk page.
As for the bibliography: I was new to Wikipedia back then, so I wasn't really very particular about references back then. Citing sources has always been rather patchy on Wikipedia, even though everyone's now making an effort to improve the situation (I hope =/ ). I'll add the references to the Singlish article as soon as possible.
And finally, the page you created by mistake: I think we can just leave it. It's not that big of a problem since it's blank anyways.
