3RR

[edit]

You've violated Wikipedia's three revert rule on the global warming article. I'm not planning to report you (unless you persist) but instead ask that you take some time to reflect on the fact that several different editors consider your material inappropriate. An approach "I'm right and all of you are wrong" isn't usually helpful and in fact contravenes Wikipedia policy. Self-reverting (i.e., undoing your most recent re-addition of the material) would be seen as a mark of good faith and, I think, would remove your liability for being blocked under the three-revert rule. Raymond Arritt 04:57, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You did persist, so I did report. Wikipedia policy encourages compromise and consensus rather than sheer persistence. Raymond Arritt 18:20, 26 July 2007 (UTC) My report crossed wires with Raul654's warning, so I'm going to withdraw it for now. You've been given a second, third, and now fourth chance, which is far more than most violators get. Again, please take some time to reflect on the situation. Warning

[edit]

I see you've now added that paragraph no fewer than 6 times today. If you do it again, I'm going to block you. Raul654 18:04, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Though I believe that your addition deserves to be in the article, I think it would be best to wait until consensus is reached, and then add it. It will save a lot of headaches, and there is no point in hitting your head against the wall in the meantime. ~ S0CO(talk|contribs) 18:09, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Climate change denial criticisms sandbox

[edit]

I've created a sandbox that I'm inviting you and others to contribute to. Don't get me wrong, I don't agree with some of what you're saying (about the notability of pundits making the connection itself as opposed to the notability of pundits reporting on those making the connection), but I want to give you the chance to convince me without a lot of edit warring going on. (I'm not blaming the warring on anyone, but it is going on.) Ben Hocking (talk|contribs) 21:01, 17 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please dont be disruptive. The Talk there gets long and rabbity enough without restoring irrelevant thought experiments about the cultural revolution. There was a consensus on that talk page to strictly restrict discussions to those directed at improving the article William M. Connolley 21:36, 1 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Satellite temperature measurements

[edit]

I would welcome your input to the discussion related to the new public domain image of RSS and UAH global temperature anomaly data here: Satellite Temperature Measurements -- Update the Graphic. Thank you. SunSw0rd (talk) 19:48, 5 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Climate change denial. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Climate change denial (4th nomination). Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:15, 4 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your contributions to the encyclopedia! In case you are not already aware, an article to which you have recently contributed, Climate change denial, is on article probation. A detailed description of the terms of article probation may be found at Wikipedia:General sanctions/Climate change probation. Also note that the terms of some article probations extend to related articles and their associated talk pages.

The above is a templated message. Please accept it as a routine friendly notice, not as a claim that there is any problem with your edits. Thank you. -- TS 08:08, 4 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
