Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to Fallout 3. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. Keep in mind that I used a premade warning template for the above message, and assumed you were vandalizing because you were not the first to put forth the opinion that Fallout 3 is a spinoff. Yes, that is an opinion, because several reliable sources, including Bethesda, have stated that the game is officially a part of the main series; just because it has differences in gameplay does not make it a spinoff. Secondly, the game has also been conclusively described as an action rpg, perhaps not in those exact words, but it's the genre that best fits. The game has several elements fitting of an rpg, such as the SPECIAL system, leveling up, stats, etc. I apologize if the template I used was overly blunt, but even though your edits may not have been vandalism, that does not make them justified/correct. -- Comandante {Talk} 20:49, 27 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No issues with the VATS description, if anything it was a long overdue clarification. As for the genre thing, it's understandable. With games continuing to blur the lines with innovation, it gets harder to pin one down to the right genre; I know from experience it can lead to very heated arguments.
