Hello, Zzuchelli, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Shalor and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Since this is part of your class assignment, you should direct this question to your Wikipedia Expert. If you visit the WikiEdu page for your course and log in, there will be a "get help" link at the top that you can use to contact him. From the general standpoint of Wikipedia, every article is a collaborative effort, and you do not need to ask for permission to make modifications. But again, I'm not familiar with your assignment or course requirements, so if those matter here, you'll have to directly ask your assigned expert or your course instructor. Thank you. I did do that as well and then I got an email that my expert changed. Hopefully, then new expert sees the message. Zzuchelli (talk) 21:26, 23 April 2019 (UTC)Zzuchelli[reply]
  • Hi! Lead paragraphs don't need to be sourced unless it has information that isn't in the body of the article. The rationale behind this is that typically the lead should be a summary of content in the article and that as such, the content in the article should be sourced. There are, of course, instances where something will be in the lead but not in the body of the article. An example of this would be say, when there's a piece of information that should be in the article but there isn't an existing section for the content and there's not really enough to justify it having its own section at that point in time. This is more for cases where the information would be just a sentence long. Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 13:22, 24 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Response[edit]

Hi! I took a look at the sourcing, but I'm not exactly sure what you're looking at. The sourcing generally looks OK. Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 17:29, 26 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I figured it out after I sent you the message. I am so sorry that I forgot to message you back and let you know. Thank you for checking on it for me and responding so quicklyZzuchelli (talk) 19:17, 26 April 2019 (UTC)Zzuchelli[reply]
