Vermiglio is a 2024 Italian-French-Belgian drama film written and directed by Maura Delpero. The film was selected to compete for the Golden Lion at the 81st Venice International Film Festival.

Principal photography started on 28 August 2023,[1] and shootings wrapped in December.[2] The film was shot between the Vermiglio, Carciato and Comasine towns in the Trentino-Alto Adige region.[3] It is produced by Cinedora (Italy), Charades (France), and Versus (Belgium).[1]

Release

The film is set to premiere in competition at the 81st Venice International Film Festival.[4][3]
