Victor Lucena

Victor Lucena (born 1948)[1] is a Venezuelan artist. Since 2020 he adhered to the Empathic Movement (Empathism).[2]

Biography

Lucena studied Pure Art at the Cristóbal Rojas School of Plastic and Applied Arts starting in 1962 till 1966. Later, he went to Europe to study at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome, at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan and in the Faculty of Architecture of the Politecnico di Milano.[3] In 1999 Lucena represented Venezuela at the 48th Biennale di Venezia.[3]
