Vikram Singh is an Indian politician from Madhya Pradesh. He is a two time elected Member of the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly from 2018 and 2023, representing Rampur-Baghelan Assembly constituency as a Member of the Bharatiya Janata Party.
Political career
[edit]In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly election, Vikram received a ticket from the Bharatiya Janata Party and contested against Ramlakhan Singh, the candidate from the Bahujan Samaj Party. Vikram won the election with a margin of 15,687 votes, securing a total of 68,816 votes, while Ramlakhan Singh received 53,129 votes. Notably, the Indian National Congress candidate, Ramshankar Payasi, came in third with 42,501 votes.[1][2]
In the 2023 Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly election, Vikram Singh was again nominated by the BJP and contested against INC candidate Ramshankar Payasi. Singh won the election with an increased margin of 22,581 votes, receiving a total of 85,287 votes, while Payasi secured 62,706 votes.[1][3]
