Waldetrudes "Ding" Santos del Rosario is a Filipino lawyer, nurse, and politician currently serving as vice mayor of Pasay since 2022. She is the daughter of former Vice Mayor Noel "Boyet" del Rosario, who served as city's vice mayor from 2016 until 2022.
Early life and education
[edit]Waldetrudes del Rosario was born to Noel del Rosario and Elsa Santos. She was educated at the Mother Barbara Micarelli School, Batangas at primary. She went to Blessed Elena Academy for her secondary level. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing at the San Beda College (now San Beda University). She studied law in Arellano University School of Law and obtained her Juris Doctor degree. In 2023, she passed the bar examinations.[1]
Career
[edit]In 2008, she volunteered as a nurse in Pasay City General Hospital wherein she worked as a nurse later on, serving for six years.
In 2016, when his father then-BPLO Secretary Noel Del Rosario was elected as vice mayor, she served as executive assistant for his entire term.
In 2022, she later substituted his father who initially ran for re-election[2], and won.[3]
