Wendy Line is a female English international lawn and indoor bowler.[1]

Bowls career[edit]

Line only started bowling at the age of 40 but won a bronze medal in the pairs at the 1988 World Outdoor Bowls Championship in Auckland.[2]

Her greatest achievement came in the 1986 Commonwealth Games in Auckland when she won the gold medal in the women's singles.[3] She represented England in the singles event, at the 1990 Commonwealth Games in Auckland, New Zealand[4][5] and four years later represented England in the fours event, at the 1994 Commonwealth Games in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.[6][7][8]

Personal life[edit]

She is married to fellow international bowler Peter Line.
