Wide Awake is the fifth studio album by Australian DJ and producer Sonny Fodera. The album was announced on 8 September 2021 and released on 22 October 2021.[2]

A deluxe edition was released in April 2022, featuring three additional tracks.[5]

Reception

[edit]

Carlie Belbin from EDM called it "his most ambitious record to date".[1]

Lisa Kocay from Forbes said "The 14-track LP delivers anthemic records that range from groovy sounds to uplifting vocals, emotive lyrics, shimmery synths, house heaters, hip hop and bouncy bass lines."[6]

Oliver Tryon from Cultr said "While a lot of the singles follow the same pattern of strong vocal with a punchy and soulful house production, there is no denying that recipe works tremendously. There are not a lot of stand outs in the album because all of the songs are brilliant."[7]
