Summary:

[edit]

ok, i accidently edited out something from the UFC article, and SKELETOR666 said why I did it, I thought that it was incorrect (the thing I rubbed out) and he proved me wrong and the article right, but hey, it was just ONE WORD. He wrote all that stuff on my talk page, and after that was resolved, I edited a couple of word in his message on my talk page, but NOT in any bad way or purpose. He later said why I did it and reverted MY talk page. So, I went to the contributors help page and asked them about the right to edit anything on talk page, they replied we may do almost anything on our OWN user pages and talk pages but they said editing others comments was “rude”, but I once again edited a little bit of his comment as I thought it was OK even if it was Rude. He replied once again said I may do whatever but I CANT edit or REMOVE anyones comments, it was after this that I visited this article- Wikipedia:Talk page#User talk pages , and so that I could NOT edit other proples comments, but I saw that I DID have the right to remove or delete their comments AFTER I have replied to them by seeing here -Wikipedia:Talk_page#Etiquette , it said, Most users treat their user talk pages like regular talk pages, and archive the contents periodically to a personal subpage — either when the page gets too large, on a regular schedule, or when they take a wikivacation. Others delete comments after they have responded to them.

And so I sent him a message saying this and explaining it to him, but he did NOT reply, a couple of days later, someone called Geniac sends me a message and threatens me not to edit peoples comments and not even to REMOVE them, here is what he said- ‘’Don't edit others' comments (or delete them, for that matter). That is called "unacceptable behavior" and will get you blocked. Thanks. --Geniac 13:40, 24 September 2006 (UTC)" And right after that I checked his link (unacceptable behavior) and saw its and article about the TALK PAGES OF WIKPEDIA’S ARTICLE’S TALK PAGES, and NOT user talk pages, and so right after that I sent him a replay, here is what is said-

  • ==Deletion==

The following qoute has been extracted from Wikipedia:Talk page guidelines

The purpose of a Wikipedia talk page is to provide space for editors to discuss changes to its associated article or project page.

and i would like to point out that im NOT an article, thank you!!!

a person does indeed have the right to delete messages on his OWN talk page please see - Wikipedia:Talk_page#Etiquette , it says-

Most users treat their user talk pages like regular talk pages, and archive the contents periodically to a personal subpage — either when the page gets too large, on a regular schedule, or when they take a wikivacation. Others delete comments after they have responded to them.

and i have indeed responded to them, three times, already!!!

and please do NOT try to threaten me!!! --Too Cool 13:55, 24 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

And, so my problem is that I HAVE the right to delete comments on my talk page, and I have seen MANY OTHER members do it too!!! But these two guys are NOT letting me have my rights, and are repetedly REVERTING MY TALK PAGE, which I higly considervery annoying and VANDALISM. So, I ask you and others to do something about it, and to warn or tell them that I do have the right to delete whatever in my own user page ana TALK PAGE (I DID respond to their messages and comments).

Thank You.
