The second Wikipedia Academy in Mumbai scheduled to take place on October 15, 2011 at ThatzIt Pvt Ltd, 208, Mastermind 1, Royal Palms, Aarey Colony, Goregaon East from 11am to 6pm.

Wikipedia Academies are public outreach events aimed at engaging academics and other subject-matter experts who are not familiar with wiki culture or online communities. In presentations and workshops, experienced Wikipedia authors teach the participants how to contribute to Wikipedia and orient the audience to Wikipedia’s structures and community policies. This particular Wiki Academy is aimed at familiarising people with the grassroots of Wikipedia, in collaboration with Digital For Everyone (D4E1) - a digital social initiative by Thatzit.

Getting There[edit]

Nearest railway station is Goregaon on Western Line. From the east side of the station, catch Bus Route No 452. The last stop is Mayur Nagar (Entry point of Royal Palms).

After a 2 min walk to Mastermind 1 building, walk upto the Second Floor.
