Allow a preference to display important file data below every image[edit]
Problem: When you are an editor (not a reader) it would be handy to see critical file information - like Feature/Quality image status, pixel dimensions, author - under every image.
Proposed solution: Add a preference for "power" users to view this extra data
Who would benefit: It would be easier to spot high quality images for investigation for Featured article candidature, weed out low quality images, and select the best images for a particular Wikipedia article. This would apply on Wikipedia and Commons.As you are always view tiny thumbnails the extra info would be handy.
