Wikipedia:Community feature requests/Hide columns in tables

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hide columns in tables[edit]

  • Problem: Big long tables in Wikipedia can become hard to navigate
  • Proposed solution: Allow readers to hide or collapse columns in tables
  • Who would benefit: Readers. Also editors may be more inclined to add extra data columns
  • Category:Reading
  • More comments: For example consider a List of conutries by population. You want to view just the country name and percentage of world. Being able to hide/collapse the other columns would be handy.

  • Support, having this feature would help me feel less guilty about including additional information in tables. --Habst (talk) 19:11, 28 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support, given this exists in other formats. Respublik (talk) 12:51, 4 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
