It isn't perfect, but it isn't bad.

I guess if I had to predict, it's going to lead to a little bit of silliness here and there. Articles are to be deleted if there is no assertion of notability, but it's pretty easy to simply *assert* notability, so this isn't much of a barrier.

Still, it might encourage authors of borderline entries *who are good people not trying to spam us* to write *better* entries so that they actually *do* focus on what is encyclopedic.
