I am nominating this for featured article because I find this article complete and well writen, and because I consider that this article completes FA criteria. Wustenfuchs 18:20, 25 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Procedural close - nominator has made only 11 edits to the article, and does not seem to have consulted the significant contributors prior to nomination, as is required by the FAC instructions. Nikkimaria (talk) 18:48, 25 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. Sometimes we get the response, "So what? Just notify them and we'll be fine" ... but IMO that's not going to work here. Judging from the article's talk page and archives, and judging from past discussions involving military conflict in the Balkans, getting this article through FAC is going to require the simultaneous participation of a number of editors who have been involved with this and similar articles. If everyone's ready to tackle this at FAC, then great, let's do it. But ask around first. [On second thought ... you didn't get a lot of feedback during the peer review. I recommend Milhist's A-class review as your best preparation for FAC.] - Dank (push to talk) 19:03, 25 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
