The Suffolk Punch is a rare breed of draft horse from the UK that doesn't get much attention today, although it was quite popular in the past. The article is comprehensive, although not long. This is a self nomination, but there has been extensive help from several other editors, including Ealdgyth, Montanabw, and Richard New Forest, among others. Comments - Good work overall. Some minor comments: - The Suffolk Punch was developed for farm work, and gained in popularity during the early 20th century. - Remove "in".
- there has been a resurgence in interest and population numbers are increasing. - Add a comma after "interest".
- As well as being used for farm work, the breed pulled artillery, as well as non-motorised commercial vans and buses - Try to avoid using "as well as" twice in the same sentence.
- Per MoS, short quotes (like the one in the Characteristics section) should be part of the text.
- By 1908, the Suffolk had also been exported from England to Spain, France, Germany, Austria, Russia, Sweden, various parts of Africa, New Zealand, Australia, Argentina and other countries. - Link the lesser-known countries, like Austria and Argentina.

- The first four are done. For the linking - my impression was that linking should be applied consistently, either linking all of the countries or none of them. Wouldn't it look odd to only have a couple of the countries linked? Especially when they're not really "lesser-known" (I would consider Andorra and Bahrain lesser-known, not Austria and Argentina). Comments - sources look okay, links checked out with the link checker tool. (Yes, I double checked them from the last time I did a check.) I have contributed a very slight bit to the article, but mainly in terms of throwing some sources up on the talk page to be used or not, as well as doing some source checking. Support from Dr pda, with the disclaimer that I don't know enough about the subject to judge comprehensiveness. I reviewed this article at Wikipedia:Peer review/Suffolk Punch/archive1, and my concerns were addressed there. Dr pda (talk) 00:25, 27 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Support prose is crisp and clear. I tweaked a few things (please tweak again if meaning inadvertently changed). I suspect it is as comprehensive as possible. Casliber (talk · contribs) 04:09, 29 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
