  • It's far to premature to attempt a FL run for this article. There is still a lot of information missing that should be present in the article.
    1. There is no information about DVD releases. If you look at every FL at WP:ANIME#Featured lists, you will notice that about every list contains information about the DVD releases.
    2. If you can find information about the episode directors and screenwriters, then they should be included into the list.
    3. Almost all sources are primary in nature. A Feature List should contain a good mix of primary and third-party sources. At present, there is only one third-party reference.
    4. If there is a list of characters, then the characters' names in the summaries should be linked to their entries on the list when first mentioned.
    5. Yū Minamoto and Rion Kujo are red links. You almost never see red links in Featured Lists.
    6. Many of the summaries are simply too long. Episode 7, "Sukumizu Shirosuku Sebareeto", comes in at 240 words and episode 10, "Hitō de Shitō!", at a whopping 284 words. This compared to episode 2, "Yōkoso Yokkō", which is a scant 113 words. Episode summaries should fall in between 100 to 200 words, with 150 being a good medium. But most importantly, they should be consistent in their length with few exceptions. (ex. recap episodes)

Comments I will take a look at the individual summaries later. For now, here are some issues:
  • Each ref that has Japanese characters in the title needs to use the trans_title parameter.
  • Echoing Farix, the list should have information on the DVD releases as well as this has been the standard in more recent FL anime episode lists. See the recently promoted List of Last Exile episodes for an example. Even if the some DVDs have yet to be released, a schedule should be included such as in List of Shangri-La episodes.
  • Each ref should either use ISO or human readable dates, not a mix of both.
  • On a quick check, the references mentioning premiere dates do not list the airing dates of the other episodes. Each episode airdate must cite a source.

  • Fixed with that. Side comment, air dates are either very easy or extremely hard to fix depending of the broadcaster & anime producer. Older animes are clear disadvantaged. Things are improving thought, i guess smart persons in Japan noticed our featured episodes lists and get the point that air dates need to be sourced. --KrebMarkt 08:24, 13 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

More comments I have finished copyediting the episode summaries as much as I can, but there are a few issues that need to be resolved. Please edit my changes if they rendered the parts of the summary inaccurate. Arsonal (talk) 22:11, 13 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • Episode 3: The first mention of Angela Takatsukasa's presence is a bit awkward as it does not introduce her background as Tsubasa's subordinate. Does she transfer in with Tsubasa?
  • Introduced Angela as Tsubasa's subordinate. She does not go to school.
  • Episode 5: Is the name "Hinagata Yui" written in the correct order of writing family name second?
  • Hinagata is her last name so it would be Yui Hinagata using Hepburn romanisation.
  • Episode 6: Is Toriyaka supposed to be Torigaya? If so, use the full name as it is the first mention of his name.
  • Mentioned Torigaya's full name.
  • Episode 7: This one has many issues. The main article lists the clan's name as "Sakinomiya"; which is it? I feel like this summary lost some stuff when it was trimmed. I don't see the connection in the sentence "One brother releases a trained bird to attack the gang, which causes Yoichi to embarrass everyone." Why did "Yoichi dives into the water to save him" when they are in the forest? The summary goes back from the forest into the beach without any explanation.
  • The 200 word limit is a bit limiting yeah. Correct spelling is "Saginomiya".
  • "One brother releases a trained bird to attack the gang, which causes Yoichi to embarrass everyone." - Well the two brothers released a trained bird which aims for the girls. Yoichi crash-tackles the girls to avoid the attack. But the girls misinterpret his actions and causes them to be embarassed. The word limit is really limiting.
  • Tweaked article to reflect that the cliff/ledge is about the sea.
  • I usually put myself in the line of thought that clarity should be prioritized over length. In this case, I think it's fine it lengthen the summary a bit to further clarify what happens to Yoichi in the first attack and what becomes of Masashi.   • Episode 8: Who does Yoichi beat up the gang with? Washizu or Ayame?
  • With Washizu
  • Episode 9: Washizu is in two groups? Who is Ukyou?
  • Torigaya is meant to be in one of the groups. Ukyou is the head of the Saginomiya clan.
  • Episode 10: Standardize the spellings of Ukyou and Ukyo. Is it supposed to be Ukyō?
  • Done.
  • Episode 11: I don't understand this sentence: "Ukyou and Sakon arrive at the dojo with the proposal and trial of the Ikarugas to live like a "first-class celebrity" in exchange for Ibuki."
  • Tweaked.
  • Episode 12: I am assuming that Yoichi's group survive the fall, but that should be mentioned.
  • Mentioned.
  • General: Does Masashi not appear again with the other Saginomiyas for the rest of the series? Is Ukyō the other brother in episode 7? If his name is mentioned then, it should be included.
  • Ukyō does not appear until episode 9. The 2 brothers in episode 7 are not named. They are introduced as students of the Saginomiya clan.
  • There is an extra empty column in the DVD releases table.
  • Removed empty column

Support as quality of episode summaries has improved. However, other reviewers may point out that the lead paragraphs stands at just over 1300 characters. I believe general guidelines state that list leads should be 1500 characters or more. This is used in promoting lists in DYK as well. Arsonal (talk) 18:23, 15 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • Could the statement that "Limited editions of all six complilations, each of which contains a bonus CD, were also released." be cited?
  • In the episode titles, the capitalization style is inconsistent. If you capitalize Is, you should also capitalize be.
  • What is that portal link doing in the references section?
  • Personally, I'd remove it completely. However, I'm not objecting to the link being in the article, only to its placement. It's neither a reference, nor is it reference-related. Goodraise 02:51, 27 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • The tenses in the lead seem a bit messed up.
  • The lead states that "The episodes were directed by Rion Kujo", yet the table gives various names as directors.
  • I question the reliability of Jones, Tim. "Asu no Yoichi!". THEM Anime Reviews. Retrieved 2009-09-16. I'd suggest simply removing it.
  • The fair-use rational of the article's only image is not convincing.
