OriginalFortified city of Carcassonne during the blue hour, France. In 1997, it was added to the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites because of its exceptional testimony to the architecture and planning of a medieval fortress town.

  • Oppose per Charles. These kinds of illuminated night scenes have plenty of uses (postcards, travel brochures), but the EV is relatively low compared to equally detailed photographs taken in good daylight (like the same author's photo in the infobox of the article).
