OriginalFatata te Miti (By the Sea) is a painting completed by Paul Gauguin in 1892. It depicts two young Tahitian women diving naked in the sea, uninhibited by Western standards which were later forced upon them.
Reason
Vincent usually gets such a good reception, so why not Paul? This is one of his more dynamic images, from the Tahitian period. Obviously, it's a very high resolution and faithful scan.
