OriginalItalian States, Republic of Venice, 50 Sequin or Zecchini (c. 1779–89) struck during the reign of Paolo Renier, the penultimate Doge of Venice. Named for the local mint (the Zecca of Venice), it is large for a gold coin (76mm diameter) and weighs 192.5g
