Original – Rough Rider Michael McNamara of the 5th Dragoon Guards, 1856, from a series of photos of the Heroes of the Crimean War commissioned by Queen Victoria.

Reason: I'm trying to bulk up some historic material about British regiments. This is a fairly widely-known image; subject of a stamp issue back in... 2004 or so?
