Original – The Metropolitan Museum of Art's copy of Portrait of Alfonso I d'Este. Although the original is lost, several copies are known to exist, including this one in the Met. The subject, Alfonso I d'Este, was Duke of Ferrara during the time of the War of the League of Cambrai.
Reason
With the original painting lost, this copy has the greatest possible EV in the article Portrait of Alfonso I d'Este, and good EV in the article on the subject
