  • Comment given the angle makes the church's shape a lot easier to figure out - how far the portico extends, etc - I'm not so sure we should be too quick to shout "supersedes" instead of "complements" Adam Cuerden (talk)Has about 6.8% of all FPs 14:39, 11 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delist - it is almost identical to the recently promoted image, it does not provide almost any new EV to have a slightly different angle. Should every building have a featured image taken from the front, then a few steps to the left? Mattximus (talk) 15:13, 11 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
    • This is nearer a 45° angle, and shows the structure of the building much more clearly in my eyes. The Greek Cross shape is basically impossible to make out from the new FP as there's no depth. Perhaps both shouldn't be FPs, but the rush to remove this from articles seems a mistake. In fact, the new FP is super misleading - although in an unavoidable way - as to the overall shape as it makes the nearest side look very different from the entrances left and right, as the roof can't be seen from the low angle. • Comment – I am leaning to delist, two things can be better, the deep blue sky doesn't look natural, for a 45 degree angled shot the shadows lean into the view rather than lean away (a photo from the other side or a better time of day can fix this). About not removing this photo from article(s), I agree, it is informative and shows another dimension. But we can just delist it. Bammesk (talk) 03:00, 12 July 2019 (UTC) . . . • Oppose per Adam Cuerden; comparing this with the front-on view, this is the much better of the two. It allows a good portion of the left-side of the cathedral to be viewed, and the new image is over-bright in the whites. Delist the other one, and keep this one.  — Amakuru (talk) 10:42, 12 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep - Per Adam & considering WP:NOTPAPER. --Janke | Talk 14:14, 12 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep – Per above, and because this has less people and shows the bottom of the columns a bit more. --- Coffeeandcrumbs 13:14, 19 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
