Fearless (2008) was certified Diamond in the U.S. and began her streak of consecutive U.S. number-one albums. Speak Now (2010) was her first in four consecutive albums that each sold over one million first-week copies in the U.S., including Red (2012)—her first U.K. number one, 1989 (2014), and Reputation (2017). Lover (2019) was Swift's first number one in several European countries, and Folklore and Evermore followed in 2020. Midnights (2022) made Swift the first artist to have the annual best-seller in the U.S. six times, after Fearless, 1989, Reputation, Lover, and Folklore.
