The wrong Wakerley?
The real Wakerley?
  • Image adding How to add an image from Commons to an article without one.

Here are some articles currently without images, for which we have suitable image(s) on Commmons. If you want to add an image to one of these, please speak to your Trainer, to avoid two people working on the same article! :

Hesleyside Hall[edit]

We tried to add an image to Hesleyside Hall earlier today, but without success. I've just discovered that the infobox {{infobox UK feature}} despite having "static_image = " and "static_image_caption =" fields won't show an image! So, I changed it to {{infobox UK place}}, and now the image works fine. Edwardx (talk) 19:22, 25 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Wakerley[edit]

Wakerley provided an unexpected learning experience. One of our cohort added an image at 11:12, and moved it to the infobox at 11:15. Then it disappeared. And a new one appeared! Wakerley must have been on someone's Watchlist, as it was deleted at 11:16, and the different image was added at 11:18. We learnt that there must be more than one place called Wakerley, and the value of watchlists. Edwardx (talk) 19:31, 25 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
