San Francisco WikiWomen's Edit-a-Thon 5! You are invited!
	The San Francisco WikiWomen's Edit-a-Thon 5 (aka Memorial Day Picnic and Edit-a-Thon!) will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2013 at the Wikimedia Foundation offices in San Francisco. Wikipedians of all experience levels are welcome to join us! We will copyedit, source, and write articles and can teach you how to do these things too! Bring a friend -- come one, come all!

Event details

Date: Saturday May 25, 2013
Time: 10a-2pm (and maybe later) -- we'll have coffee and lunch
Location: Wikimedia Foundation offices (149 New Montgomery Street, 3rd Floor San Francisco, CA 94105) – Google Maps view
Event: An edit-a-thon! Learn how to contribute to Wikipedia and collaborate with others to write about whatever interests you!
Hashtag: The Twitter and social hashtag is #wikiathon

Come meet your fellow editors and help improve Wikipedia articles! Food and drinks will be provided (vegan/vegetarians welcome). Don't know how to edit Wikipedia? That's ok, friendly, experienced editors will be here to help!

Everyone is welcome to come edit Wikipedia with us at this event. Women, men, new editors, archivists and librarians who have resources to share about much needed coverage areas in Wikipedia (women's history, Bay Area history & culture, contemporary culture), those who want to learn how to edit or can teach others how, and anyone with an interest having a great time & editing collaboratively are encouraged to attend!!

for those who speak Spanish, there is also an edit-a-thon going on in Mexico City at the same time!

ideas for topics or articles you might want to work on (though suggestions will be provided for those just looking to be put to work)

Things were slow going at the edit-a-thon with editing, so I focused mostly on research.
