Comment. Correct me if I'm wrong, but if I remember correctly, this is a(n) FUI. I'm sure I've seen similar mottos (ones that feature MasterCard), like "there are some things that knowledge can't buy. For everything else, there's Wikipedia.", or "There are some things that money can buy. For everything else, there's Wikipedia.". The motto is supposed to use the false statement, the unlinked one, and put a {{fact}} tag beside it, to make it so that it looks like citations are so often required, even this statement requires a citation. Oppose A good idea, in theory, but the thing with all the non-English phrases is that - while their translation and respective links are usually very appropriate and clever - they lose all meaning when people simply don't know what they mean. Reply. Hi. L.m.a.o. The thing is, I usually don't check the links to see what they point to. I didn't know what you meant by furniture polish, until I clicked the link...<font size="∞∞">LOL!. What I meant by "behold" was not furniture polish! I just meant the word behold. The reason for this is, according to The Roman Mysteries, "En" was latin for behold. Note for people who reviewed my previous mottos: Sorry if I deleted 7 other suggestions. For people who previously support/oppose the 8 mottoes, you may have to revote my one motto. I just had to delete the other ones because all 8 of them will not reach concensus and it will take a long time for concensus to reach. I pick this one because it is my favorite version.
