Wikipedia:Peer review/Alien vs. Predator (film)/archive1

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I've recently rewrote this entire article and hope to take it to FA. Thanks, M3tal H3ad (talk) 04:14, 24 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A decent article overall and I suspect it'd fare well at FAC. A few niggling points:

  • Plot: the final paragraph uses the word "decloaks". While I'm sure most Trekkies will parse this, it may be worth either picking a different verb or wikilinking it to cloaking device
Changed to uncloaks with the appropriate link.
  • Music: "After completing the score for The Day After Tomorrow, Anderson chose Kloser as he is a fan of both franchises." - could do with a slight rearrangement to make the subject more clear (Anderson didn't complete the score, etc)
Reworded
  • Music: "called "Alien vs. Predator Main Theme" a, "particularly striking and serves as..." - either the quotation's missing a noun or you don't need "a"
Fixed
  • Music: Need to identify who Mike Brennan is.
Identified
  • It's mentioned in the infobox that there's a Director's Cut. Is this the "Extreme Edition" or the "Unrated Edition" mentioned in the DVD releases, or is it a third version?
Unrated, don't know how i missed that
  • Is the author of the article in Movie Magic (reference 9) identified in the magazine? If not, fair enough. If so, could do with a credit.
Can't find an author
  • Could do with identifying what the audio commentary accompanies for reference 14. I assume it's AvP itself, but positive identification never hurts, especially if the editions have different commentaries.
I'm not quite sure what you mean here
  • Reference 31 needs to include the date (April 20, 2006)
Done
  • Identify the relevant weeks in Refs 32 and 33
Done
  • Ref 34 has a dangling square bracket (can you tell I'm running out of things to type? :) )
Everything helps :)

Thanks for taking the time to review. M3tal H3ad (talk) 08:26, 27 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
