Hello, I would like to know if the page can achieve GA, any other suggestion or input is welcome too.
Thanks, Bertdrunk (talk) 01:34, 22 November 2016 (UTC)
- The article as written is missing information from the European, Indian Ocean, and Caribbean theaters of the war. Perhaps the most decisive naval battle of the war, the Battle of the Saintes is only mentioned in passing in the article, as are other major naval battles of major strategic importance that such as the Battle of Cape St. Vincent (1780) which saw the British resupply of Gibralter, and major engagements which saw over 1000+ casualties such as the Battle of St. Lucia and the Battle of Grenada. Another notable absence is the gradual attrition of the American fleet due to single ship actions with the British navy over the coarse of the war. XavierGreen (talk) 23:46, 12 December 2016 (UTC)
Query @Bertdrunk: G'day, given that the article is currently being reviewed for GA, I think it would be best to close/archive this peer review, per the peer review guidelines. The bot that usually performs the archiving tasks is down, but I can do the required edits manually. Please let me know if you have any objections to this course of action.
