Removal from the Order of Canada[edit]

This article is a fork of Order of Canada, which also has Featured Status. I just want to see if this article is good enough to become Featured. I am not sure if article forks are good subjects for Featured status and I also do not think we can really put this on the front page. Zscout370 (Sound Off) 23:57, 27 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

  • To be fair, this article was the subject of a VFD since July 14, 2005. Zscout370 (Sound Off) 00:01, 28 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]
  • I am also not using photos in this article. Zscout370 (Sound Off) 00:30, 28 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]
    • Why no pictures? CanadianCaesar 02:15, 29 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]
      • Why put pictures of the Order if this is talking about the removal from the Order. I also think that if people want to see the photos of the people that were removed from the Order, they could click the link and head over to their article. FA's do not require pictures, and that is my main reason for telling folks if that if this becomes Featured, I request for this not to be on the front page. • I'd like you to draw a picture of the Gov Gen ripping the medal off Alan Eagleson's chest. :-) (just kidding, of course). DoubleBlue (Talk) 12:52, 29 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]
          • I am not that good of a drawer, but I personally think the Order insignia is returned by mail. There is no official ceremony to my knowledge for handing the insignia back. Zscout370 (Sound Off) 19:53, 29 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]
