Skegness

After a long break from this sort of serious article improvement, I've turned my hand at bringing Skegness up to what I believe is FA-standard. It is an English town and seaside resort; I'm sure most British Wikipedians will know of it; often sneered it (sometimes rightfully), it's a little place in Lincolnshire offering cheap holidays by the sea for millions of people every summer, often from the old factory towns of the East Midlands. There's something quintessentially English about it, and yet there are many aspects of the town which are less known which I've hopefully fleshed out.

The article is certainly comprehensive and thoroughly cited, but I am hoping for some advice or feedback before nominating it at FAC – nitpicks about prose or technical aspects would be welcome, as well as any more general comments. In particular, I'm concerned that the article is very long, though I don't think it feels too long nor do I think that much should be spun out into standalone articles. I think this is a product of writing about towns in particular, because we are meant to be comprehensive and gazetteer-like, but there's often not enough material to make standalone articles like "History of...", "Politics in...", "Notable people from..." which can often be created for cities; yet there is more information than we would have for a village. I'd be interested to hear what others think.

It's been a week, which is not long in wiki time, but I feel that this is very nearly FA-level and I'd rather take the plunge at FAC. My concerns about article length have been assuaged somewhat since I realised that readable prose is the key metric; while this is still long, at just over 70kb readable prose it is not too bad.
