The atmosphere of Jupiter as seen from Voyager 1, including the anticyclonic storm known as the Great Red Spot. Jupiter's atmosphere is composed of ~81% hydrogen and ~18% helium with ~1% of other substances. This atmospheric composition is very close to the composition of the solar nebula. Saturn has a similar composition, but Uranus and Neptune have much less hydrogen and helium. The Earth's atmosphere is quite different, being primarily composed of nitrogen.
