Wikipedia:Portal peer review/Bande Dessinée/archive1
I have worked much for the improvement of my portal, but some concerns may remain:
- Is the image at the top of the page useful and aesthetic, or should I remove or replace it ?
- Problem with the selected biography: I contented myself with writing a short sentence as an introduction for each personality. Then I wrote the beginning of the biography, then put a link "more..." to the complete article. Is it approriate ?
- Selected images are not of the same size. Is it really a problem ? It should be noted that free images for comics are very rare.
- Is the presentation of the news correct ? I did not specified the exact date of each event, only the month, because I do not know it.
- If you have any other recommendations about other aspects of the portal, do not hesitate ! Thanks.

- Here are some initial observations; note that they may be different than other reviewers.
- This is optional, but you may wish to begin using layouts for selected articles, biography, etc. (for an example see Portal:Japan/Selected biography and that section's layout.
- The biography section is appropriate, but lacks images; if there are free images available, consider adding them (see Portal:Japan/Selected biography). The titles should also be wikilinked like Portal:Japan/Selected biography. I also have concerns about the quality of the articles used: many are Start quality and many portals I've seen use at minimum B-class. The portal guidelines recommend good article class and higher, but I can understand if that's not possible.
- Selected picture number 2 has been removed. You will want to change that image and increase the total number of images to at least 10. Having images of the same relative size is a preference of mine as well, but I do not think it is a requirement. I personally think Portal:Bande Dessinée/Selected picture/4 and Portal:Bande Dessinée/Selected picture/5 are too large (Portal:Feminism/Selected picture). Also, you will want to add captions to all of the images as well as credit links to the user who uploaded or created the image
- Selected articles also lacks images. There were also around two that were start-class. The title should be wikilinked like Portal:Criminal justice/Selected article
- You will want to randomize Did you know? and have at least 10 sets of three.
- Clean up Things to do and make it more readable: Portal:Sustainable development
- In the news appears to require manual updating, which is fine as long as it is updated regularly. But the links need to be fixed because Portal:Bande Dessinée/Current events doesn't exist and neither does the link to wikinews
